Paul W. Rankin is a filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia. He was raised by wolves in the Alaskan wilderness and spent his teenage years on the road with Tom Waits. He is rather partial to the following filmmakers (in alphabetical order): Paul Thomas Anderson, Jean-Luc Godard, Stanley Kubrick, Michael Mann, and Andrei Tarkovsky. He lives alone in a lighthouse and keeps careful watch on the movement of the waves.
